Bottle, courtesy fonefan, May 2008. Hazy orange colour with a lasting but thin white head. Spicy in a strange way that I can’t quite describe. Not much chocolate in evidence. Mouthfeel is quite sharp and rather acidic. Interesting but weird.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is of plastic malt, brewmash, and phenol. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of spices, leading to a dry finish, that burns in the throat. Something wrong.

Aged sample, tak to René Deep green-amber beer with a huge yellowish head, lace. Vegetable nose with old chocolate, insectoid. Bitter-herbal, with indeed a bitter chocolate flavour. Bit oxydized, some solvent. Light body, acidic finish. Ouch - died long ago, I’m afraid.

Bottle @ home. [ Courtesy of thewolf ].
Hazy medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is medicine, notes of smoke, orange, chocolate notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, ligh to moderate acidic and bitter with a average duration. Strange beer. Body is medium to light, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120508)

Bottle, courtesy of thewolf. Pours a cloudy deep orange colour with a medium short lasting beige head. Fair lacing. Sweet fruity and wheaty bit chocolate aroma. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with wheat, some chocolate, caramel and barley. Interesting and rather different Dunkelweizen.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Slightly hazy amber golden with a lively, rough, off-white head leaving some laces. Vague aroma of banana and some yeastiness - and surprisingly also some alcohol. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, some yeast and phenols. No real bitterness - and no real traces of the chocolate, at least not on my palate. Perhaps there was a vague whiff of chocolate in the aroma. Perhaps. 220308

Bottle. A hazy amber beer with a big off-white head. The aroma and taste is of yeast, chocolate and wheat. Medium body with a dry sparkeling finish.

Hazy amber with medium head. Sweet spicy aroma. Same goes for very strange flavor…
