Ungstrup (11930), Frederiksberg, Denmark Sep 4, 2008 Bottled. A murky orange-brown beer with no head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fruit - especially citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes fo straw and citrus, as well as lighter notes of spices and burnt plastic. The finish is dry, spicy, and slightly bitter.
faroeviking (4713), The Autonomous Beer Republic,, Faroe Islands Nov 22, 2007 Bottle. Pours a muddy amber colour with a fizzy fairly lasting off-white ehad. Quite sour and yeasty aroma. Ok. stickish mouthfeel. The flavour is basically faul...sour, yeasty, sweetish and herby. Sour yeasty finish. Belgian Ale??????????? More like a fatal lambic. Bad infected home brew. Papsoe (11421), Frederiksberg, Denmark Nov 19, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Very cloudy - or rather muddy - amber colured with the tiniest, off-white head. Somewhat chemical aroma. Quite a full body with sweet caramel notes and a little fruit. Lightly bitter finish. At least not completely undrinkable as most other Koldings. 311007 yespr (8540), Copenhagen O, Denmark Nov 11, 2007 50 cL bottle. Pours muddy orange to brown with a immediately gone head. Sharp herbal aroma. Flavour is sweet and slight herbal with a bit of liqourice to it. Has a mild citrus flavour to it as well. Ends with little bitterness. Terrible uninviting look and not clean - again. thewolf (4304), Kolding, Denmark Aug 24, 2007 Updated: Nov 12, 2007Bottle @ the brewery. Tasted rather ’young’, but will have to re-rate it as soon as it is released to the general public. Pour is very muddy, orange-yellow with absolutely no head. Mild aroma with some Belgian sugars and weak orange. Quite low carbonation. This gives it a nice full mouthfeel to begin with. Flavour is terribly sweet and cloying. A little spice and a good light bitterness at the far end. A little orangy sourness and a touch of metallic aftertaste. In my opinion, this lacks balance, being far too sweet, but generally has more flavour than Troldhede’s from last year. 3.0

Second tasting @ Kolding Vinhandel tasting. Terrible! How can this go bad only a week later? Sour, sour, infected and yeast-crazy! Why, oh, why? 1.4

Third tasting @ YNWA. Better, not infected (yet?). Sweet with a good orange presence. Still not my favourite Belgian Ale, but this is passable. 3.0
