Dark blond in the glass, not too zippy, small but creamy head. Starts quite hoppy grasy, notes of hay, some wood. Becomes more and more malty, but still spicy-hoppy. Round finish, very drinkable. Really good! bierkoning (6089), La Tropica, Netherlands

Initial malt, but after that orange and flowery and earthy hops. Even a bit of mandarin curacao and grass. Lovely! Oakes (8114), Kowloon, Hong Kong
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jun 29, 2009 Golden-amber. Fairly bright. Thick head that falls to a rocky thin foam. Very appetizing aroma has hints of apple, a touch of fruity hop and firm caramel/breadcrust malt. This is a study in mouthfeel. Very fresh tasting with a moderate but steady bitterness, finishing with a burst of juiciness and dry, faintly herbal hop. The malt is everpresent but seldom makes a statement. Eminently drinkable country beer. Very good. Beershine (2754), Traipsing Around, Cambodia

Bright vivid orange-gold and much more clarified than the Windischechenbach Zoigls we had. Thick white foamy head and lacing. Bright, fresh, friendly, toasted grain aroma. Clean, drinkable, low carbonation and juicy palate. Mild citrusy quality. Great dry, spicy, citrusy finish. Quality brew!! pivnizub (5077), Bochum, Porúří, Germany
