Amber gold with a faint haze, good lasting off white head and moderate condition. Solid toffee malt and gentle hops aromas, full bodied and sweetly malty with hints of caramel , gentle hops and some yeastiness in the mouth. Long lingering finish with sweet toffee and a gentle hop bitterness.
Tap, at Gaststube Benaburger, Neuhaus Pegnitz. Jan 2005. Amber, moderate white head and good condition. Spicy peppery hop and sweet roast malt in the nose, full bodied and spicy in the mouth with some caramel and good balance of hops, lingering sweet roasted finish with a dry hop bitterness.
