Had this on draft in Hawaii at our hotel and at the Kona Brewery(which is a fantastic place by the way with terrific food). I was hoping I’d be able to find it in Colorado, but no luck. I’m surprised by how low everybody is reviewing this beer.

Jan 1, 2009 On tap at Koko Marina. Poured a clear gold color with a one finger white head. Aroma of malt and a bit of grassy hops. Flavor was malty with a faint hop bitterness. The flavor was slightly disappointing, even though I didn’t expect too much from a golden ale.

Nov 30, 2008 Pours a golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malt, corn. Flavor is malt, corn, fruits, a touch of hops. A little sweet in the finish, but not too memorable.

Jul 9, 2008 A pretty typicla golden ale. Pours gold (duh) with a medium sized head. Aroma is slightly hoppy with a bit of sweet malt. Mouthfeel is lively with lots of carbonation. Flavor is kind of blah with not much happening. Not terrible, just nothing special.

Jun 19, 2008 Pretty standard golden ale here. Light malt flavor, crisp carbonation, and a touch of hops. Very easy drinking but nothing special.
