FoBAB 2009. I liked this one. It poured a somewhat hazey gold body with a frothy head. The aroma held floral scents with citrus undertones. The flavor had a woody, floral bitterness over some grainy pale malts with a splash of booze. It finished with a mild floral bitterness that lingered on the tongue. A muted IPA, to be sure, but one that I’d drink again.

Sampled at FoBAB. This was another one of those "I got this and it sucks so drink it HonkeyBra" beers. There were a lot, because I went with girls. Kind of a decent aroma with faint barrel. I get some decent IPA notes but its more like aged IPA and kinda of lacking. Definitely light compared to must of the insane stuff I had. Not terrible though.

Sampled at FoBAB 2009. Pours nice lightly hazy golde pour, a bit of darkness, small white head that dies to bubbles. Aromas are lightly citrus hopped, fresh grapefruit and lemon, a faint bourbon edge, wet wood and vanilla more apparent. Initial is lightly hopped, getting stronger, florals, light bourbon and booziness, good hopping grows, lighter pale malts. Nice, hoppy grows heavier, lightly boozy sticking the palate. Very nice and a change of pace from most of the fare on tap today.
