Clear golden color with thin white head that dissipated quickly and left no lace. Light cereal grain aroma and flavor. Tastes fresh, and was nice in the hot sun, but was uninspiring overall. brianprentiss (475), Portland, Oregon, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2006 Not a bad beer by any means but not very interesting at all either. I understand why it exists--to cater to the largely unadventurous types who come to the brewpub mainly for their wonderful food. Sweet aroma with an extremely light body and very little hop character. No flaws, but not a lot going on either. Aubrey (2777), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 8, 2006 Draft at brewery: Golden and mostly clear; fading head but lace lingered a little. Lively carbonation; OK body/texture. Sweet grains accented by flowers (made me think of honeysuckle). Light and unexciting but surely drinkable. Ernest (4491), Boulder, Colorado, USA

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 31, 2005 Had this on-tap at the brewery. This beer poured a hazy, light gold with a tiny, mostly diminishing head. The aroma was quite simple: light malty notes of grain, light hoppy notes of herb and pine with a teeny tiny trace of banana. The flavor was also very simple: it started lightly sweet and moderately bitter with an average-length finish with a trace of bitterness. The palate was light with a watery texture and lively carbonation. I think this beer is what a Golden Ale is supposed to be, but it wasn’t very engaging to me personally. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 4, 2003 Medium golden and moderately active, with a very thin head. Thin and just lightly malted in a koelsch-style, but with little distinctiveness. Still a good well-made micro. Gusler (2655), Tucson, Arizona, USA
