| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Apr 3, 2009 Clear copper with a minimal head, on tap at Fez in Phoenix. The nose was pine hops, and a hint of bready malt. Taste was well hopped, with a nice malt backbone. Finishes dry and bitter. Good for the style. I’d return for more. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 3, 2009 Bottle at beer:30. Pours clear coppery amber iwth an off-white head. Medium body and carbonation. Light aroma of earth, pine and caramel. Creamy caramel bread and citrus taste. Lightly bitter finish. Not my favorite APA, but not bad. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 1, 2009 Amber with off-white head. Caramel malt aroma. Malt takes leading role over the hops in this one, with lower bitterness and mostly hop flavor that finishes dry/astringent. Just ok for me. On tap at Pour House in NYC. A mellow pale ale with flavors of honey, yeast, and a touch of spice and brisk hops. This is a high quality brew, as is their other widely available product, Longboard Lager. bconley (351), Fern Park, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2009 On Tap on the pier in Cocoa. Pretty good. Very clear body and white head. Light and satisfying. Very hoppy and citrusy. But not nearly as carbonated as I thought it would be. I’d like to try this again. PJClarke (710), London, Greater London, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 9, 2009 Light brown with tantalizing orangey hues. Pure snowy wite head of dense looking froth.
Sweet milky aromas cut with light malts. In the mouth we find sweet and fruity malts (mainly hints of lime and mango) with a good tingly tang in the middle followed by corn-flakey cerealness. A grand succession of flavours. Texture-wise it is creamy but with some tang from the carbonation.
I really like this. Its cutting citrus freshness is great for the beach on which I am drinking. Mellow and quaffable, a great summer brew.
