Nov 30, 2008 I’m quite surprised by the high ratings here. I had this on tap in Honolulu over Thanksgiving 2008. Pour is amber orange with nice nose of caramel and flowers. That’s where it ends. Mine tasted like it had soup bullion in it. Thick and fakey tasting. I didn’t for it at all.

Nov 28, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a thin head over a copper golden body....nose is mild floral hop....taste of hop and sweet malts fairly light in all characteristics....light mouth feel...good balance....honey nose at the very end. Good for the style. 11/16/2008

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate fruity hopps. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (050808)

Nov 20, 2008 Pours a hazy light orange with little carbonation and a small, white head that dissipates fast. Aroma is hay, grass, with some skunked malt. Very metallic and rusty taste with an acidic palate. Hops notes are sour and unpleasant. Very poor overall.

Nov 1, 2008 Tap. Clear, warm amber golden with a small, off-white head. Lightly sweet, malty nose. Medium body, sweetish malty with some bon-bon-like flavours. Bitter, hoppy finish.

Oct 31, 2008 Had this beer in Hawaii a few years ago and ran into it recently at the Beerfest in Raleigh NC.
Poured from bottle - Lightly hazy copper in the glass with a thin ivory head. Nice aroma - solid malt with just a little hops and maybe caramel sweetness. Herbal hops in the mouth, hints of citrus.
This is a pretty tasty pale ale and a good summer drinker.

Oct 30, 2008 From the tap poured an amber color with a good amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a quick finish.

Oct 28, 2008 Updated: Nov 30, 2008Pours a nice crisp copper color with thin off-white head that lingers a while and leaves okay lacing. Nose is citrus hops, though not real pronounced, and the mouthfeel is slightly tingly. Taste is a nice citrus hop, that slowly evolves into sweet malt, and the finish is slightly bittersweet and smooth.
