Commercial Description:
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Bottle. Pretty amber with an inch of soft white head. Smells of orange... really, orange, not grapefruit or pine. Flavors of orange, hops, brown malts. Finishes with a bitter orange peel. If this is a "Hawaiian" style, I’d like to try more... because it’s good.

A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet grassy and malty combined with a light note of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and lesser notes of hops.

Draught in Destin, FL. Pours clear copper/bronze colour with a foamy off white head. Nice citrus hop aroma. Pleasant flavour than is not overpowering with bitterness. Really a nice change from all the macro beers available in the beach/bar settings.

Shared by turdferguson. Pours a clear copper with a two finger sustaining creamy light orange head. The smell is clean and citrusy, sweet, light hops, subdued. The flavor is lightly hoppy, a bit sweet, earthy herbal hops, a bit sweet. Clean bitter palate. Easy to drink.

Not being a huge fan of pale ale, I was immensely surprised by how much I liked this beer. Pours orangish-amber with just a touch of cloudiness. The thick beige head leaves nice lacing. The aroma is primarily citrus and hops, but there are notes of malt. Very smooth and a bit oily on the palate. Very nice flavor with a superb mix of hoppy bitterness and malty smoothness. Citrus and bread flavors lead to a smooth finish. Very nice brew.

On tap at Lagerhaus (Tampa, FL). Pours a clear dark amber color with a thick and creamy two-finger head that settled slowly. Good head retention and glass lacing. Aroma is strongly of citrus, most notably grapefruit, hops, some bread and malt. Flavor is sour ripe fruit, hops, grapefruit, some spice. Light to medium body with a hoppy, quick finish.

Pours a dark, transparent orange-brown with a fine-bubbled off-white head. Aroma is not strong but appetizing, malty with touches of spice and fruit. Flavor is rich, mainly malty with spicy hints and a nice hoppy edge. Mouthfeel is edgy so it seems to dance on the tongue.

Deep amber brown pour with a good foamy white head that sticks around. Nice caramel malt and citrus hop aroma. Very refreshing, well balanced flavor. This is a seriously good six-pack pale ale!
