Commercial Description:
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

This is one of my least favorite pale ales. The hops didn’t come out to me at all. It wasn’t even pale in color. I don’t know what this beer is....

12 oz bottle purchased at Ocean Wine & Spirits. Pours an orange amber with an average size foamy off white head. Grassy aroma with some floral hop notes and slight grain. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Flavor of slight toasted malts and bitter citrus rind. Drinkable session beer bout would of liked to see slightly more hop flavor vs hop bitterness.

Bottle. PKGD ON MAY1308. Amber pour with a small white head. Hoppy nose with soft caramel, sweet malts, floral notes and citrus peel. Taste is hoppy as well with soft orange juice flavors, citrus peel, caramel, light spicy notes, sweet malt, touch of honey and floral notes. Body is medium and chewy. Moderate carbonation throughout. Finishes with more citrus notes, caramel, soft honey, touch of pine, spicy hops, and flora notes.

actually pretty good. Pours an amber color with a decent sized creamy off white head. Nose is hops, toasted malt, and sugar. Taste is really sweet and feels like honey in the mouth with a great caramel malt backbone and just the right about of bitter finish. I like it.

Pours amber with a thick white head. Malty aroma with a hint of cotton candy. Sweet malty flavor, not much hoppiness. Clean flavors, nice beer.

This beer was pretty good. It pours a coppery color (reminscent of an IPA) and was a nice piney/ citrusy aroma. It was a bit thicker in the mouthfeel than a normal pale and very malty with a bit of an unbalanced hop finish. Respectable; would get again.
