A foamy, off-white head sticks around for a while, leaving some spotty lacing behind. The nose is dry, showing pale malts and cereal grains along with a moderate helping of mildly floral hops. Flavors basically follow suit, with the ever so slight emergence of some citrus character and a bit of toastiness. The palate is on the thin side of medium-bodied, with a clean, dry finish. Its a decent beer. Overall. pretty non-descript and boring, but very drinkable. SHIG (2050), Aviano, Italy

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 18, 2008 Pours a clear amber color, with a medium foamy light tan head. The aroma was very subtle in this, had some crisp grain and mild hops, but not much else going on here. No real malt presence to speak of yet. The flavor was a decent mixture of hops and the now-present malts. Gave it a little caramel flavor, with some hop bitterness in the finish. Pretty standard for a pale ale. Session beer at best. 00cobraR (1102), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA

| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 17, 2008 Looks, smells, and tastes like what it is: a thinly veiled Anheuser Busch attempt at an "exotic" pale ale. Not pretty. Three sips and down the drain. Aloha! ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 16, 2008 Bottle from Total Wine. My first beer from Hawaii. Pours out a nice orange color without much of a head. Smell is sweet and somewhat hoppy with some nice hoppy smells too. Some citrus flavors too, little bit of orange. Taste is smooth and easy to drink. Something that you could consume in large amounts on a summer day. Not bad stuff really.. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 14, 2008 On-tap at Jake’s Del Mar. Pours amber with a thin white head, some lace. Smells of mellow, sweet hoppiness, some malts as well. Tastes citrusy sweet, not so much hoppy citrus, just citrus. Some caramelly malt flavors and a bit metallic as well. Medium body, crisp carbonation. Tasty elihapa (1071), Honolulu, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2008 Updated: Jul 14, 2009Medium bodied, w/ ashy, malt flavor and a balanced hop bill. Above average overall with interesting complexity, but something about the flavor still tastes a bit chalky-smoky to me. At least its unique.
