May 10, 2008 Pours a copper color with an off white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, and some citrus hops. Flavor is malty, caramel, and a bitter citrus hop finish.

May 5, 2008 Along with some citrus there is a definite caramel edge to the nose and palate. The palate shows some dryness but also a sweet midpalate with a touch of chocolate. Nice beer.

May 5, 2008 Light cappuccino foam coloured head : lacing is pretty good, average for a APA ... light golden colour .. light rust hop pine smell ... taste is nice, maybe a bit muddled .... "if you find a cheaper lion, you must be in africa" ... the 6 % is quite well hidden so its worth a try but there are better APA’s...

May 5, 2008 12 oz bottle: Pours a very light brown/amber, with very thin white head. Smelled a little citrus, a little carmel. Medium bitter aftertaste, lingering hops on the palate. Refreshing but not overall too much else to say about it.
