Commercial Description:
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Single bottle from Total Wine in Jacksonville, FL. Pours a nice copper color with a small head. Nice malt aroma with a touch of hops. Taste is hoppy, a bit of floral notes. Awesome.

dark amber with a thin off white head. mostly malt on the nose with a smooth malt flavor and a good thickness. i could see this being a daily drinker on hot days.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber color with almost no head. My label is different than the example shown, so I may have an older bottle (mine is a green mountain, yellow sky, palm trees and the ocean with ocean liner). Nose is mainly malt with a touch of citrus hops. Palate has a malty bread-like taste with a slight bitter hop bitter aftertaste. I hope for this beer’s sake that I have an older bottle, as it’s not a good representative of the style if it’s a fresh one.

Tap at Flying Saucer with Zinister and Malt-O-Meal. Pours a rich amber with a nice head and lacing. Aroma is sweet grapefruit and mild orange. Flavor is mild malted grapefruit, strawberry, and peach. Easy-to-take mouthfeel. Nice, refreshing, and approachable; worth another try.

On tap at Flying Saucer, drank with Kaggie97 and Maltomeal. Gold amber color with small head. Pretty straightforward nose of hops and malts. Flavor is the same, with a touch of caramel. Surprisingly better than I expected. Solid Pale Ale.

Very light amber, almost dark orange with moderate off white head that leaves some lace. Light scents of caramel malt and roasted barley with fruity and floral hops slightly dominating. Sweet lightly roasted malts and nice hop bittering throughout. Mostly roasted barley, caramel, light ripe fruit and bit of citrus before the woodsy bittering takes over. Moderate-heavy carbonation, but not too stingy. Medium bodied mouthfeel. Pretty drinkable.

Dark gold, thin off white head. Spicy aroma. Thin bodied slightly malty with a little bit of hops (not enough in my opinion).
