Commercial Description:
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Pours the color of pale ale. You know that clear copper, with a 2 inch soap bubble thick foam head with a copper tint. The aroma is of a floral bouquet, and hops, and a little citrus (lemon), and a litle dirt. It’s a complex aroma. The flavor is nice, clean, smooth, mild, and just a little hoppy. This is an easy drinkable beer. It would be outstanding if it had a liitle more carbonation (bite). It’s got a good, creamy mouthfeel, but is a little run down on the tongue. The finish is clean mostly, but a little creamy, and leaves a light taste of hops.

Pours with a large, rocky, off-white head. Reddish-copper body. Light floral hops in the aroma with some hop presence. Taste is more malt than hop bitterness. Pretty watery tasting. Dry mouthfeel.

Dark gold, thin head. Caramel malt and citrus hop aroma. Candy like malt and mildly hoppy flavor. Has some toffee and the citrus hops mingle with some spicy hops. Halfway between an American and British pale ale.

This beer pours a light amber with little to no head. The nose is slightly hoppy and bready. The flavors are mild hops with a good malt backbone, stronger on the malt part though. This is a pretty decent beer. Cheers!

On tap at Tank’s Tap Room. Pours a hazy golden amber with a decent sized head. Very floral and citrus aroma. Flavor is not as heavy on the hops as some pale ales. Smooth with a nice bitter finish.

The aroma has caramel malt, biscuits, and citrus hops. The appearance is light amber with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is smooth but a tad thin. All in all a good beer it has the flavor of a pale ale it’s just a little to wimpy but then again it’s a session beer.

I like the aroma-- a little hoppy but not too strong. A beautiful Amber color, nice and clear. I’m not entirely impressed with the flavor myself, but for a hoppy pale ale it is better than most I’ve had. Smooth to the palate, nice finish.
