Comparable to other solid pale ales. Light brown color with a thin head. Slight hop aroma - pleasant and fragrant. Sweet malty body very pleasing to the palate. Drinkable and appropriately complex for this style. Bitter, but more balanced without the syrup-y aftertaste. BREWMUSKCLES (1075), New Jersey, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2007 Excellent hop aroma and bitterness throughout. Malt profile held up fine. I’m thinking that this would be an IPA if it were brewed in BC. fakepurseninja (785), Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Had this on tap at Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Luau - so I must admit the rating is a little biased by the good times. Strong caramel malt base, medium bodied. Really well hopped - almost IPA in essence. Grapefruit bite without the sting. Well built ale. johnadam2002 (529), Hainesport, New Jersey, USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Dec 13, 2007 On tap at San Diego Brewing Co. Pours with an orange-amber body topped by a thin, white head with a little bit of lacing. It’s slightly sweet and malty with a slight toffee note and very little hops. There is a slight grainey note that is not really appetizing. Medium bodied and smooth. Skyview (4055), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2007 Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at the Papago Brewing Company tavern in Phoenix, AZ. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a fine film and white ring with some spotty lacing. Aroma of light citrus zest, some caramel malt, a touch of peach and light pine. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with a citrus zest with caramel malt flavor. Finish is semi-bitter, with a sweet grapefruit zest aftertaste.
