Appearance: amber clear ale with medium top. Average look. 3-
Nose: Mild , clean fresh hops sided nose with some amber and crystal malts.
Flavor/Palate : Mid bodied. Soft , grainy rye like feel with hint of caramel and fruity hops. Different fruity hop sided ale.

Sep 12, 2009 6-pack purchased at a local convenience store. Nice looking pale ale. Peach/gold or copper color. Nice thin head sitting on top that slowly fades away. Very surprised to see how good this thing looks. Nice sweet caramel malt aroma. Nice subtle hop that almost perfectly balances the aroma. Not overly pungent, but still a nice aroma. The flavor is a bit boring and weak. A mild hop flavor with a little sweet malt backing. Nothing amazing going on here, but a very straight forward APA. Not exceptionally creamy, but average.

Sep 11, 2009 Bottle from Wholefoods. Pours a pretty dark amber, looks nice. Medium carbonation, sharp hop tang underneath sweet malts. Grainy and medium bodied. Tasty brew.

Sep 10, 2009 Poured a clear amber color with a small uninteresting head. Smell is of mild citrus and a little bit of malts. Taste is again not too interesting. A little bit of hops. Bunch of malts. Mouth feel was smooth, but not at all hearty. Not my favorite APA.

Sep 5, 2009 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated orange colored body. The deep mild aroma was hoppy and floral. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The nice sharp flavor contained notes of hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Aug 31, 2009 A clear dark orange color. Almost no head retention whatsoever, though a thin layer does remain on top.
The smell is bitter pale malts, with a bleachy hop smell. Seems to be of the German (Hallertauer/Saaz) variety. A tad off-putting.
The taste is bitter hops at the front of the tongue, almost like chlorine. A bitter amber malt flavor, with hints of some crystally pale thrown in. More malty than hoppy.
The feel is a thick and fizzy body. Dances on the tongue, then sticks around. It’s drinkable enough, but too overly bitter for my tastes, without enough balance.

Aug 31, 2009 Pours a three finger cream head that fades slowly leaving a good lace. Clear amber color. Medium carbonation and medium bodied. Hoppy nose. Flavor is citrus hops, little sweetness and a light bitter finish. Reasonable pale. Bottled on May 6, 2009. $1.75 for a 12oz bottle from Beverage Warehouse Winooski, VT.

Aug 27, 2009 bottled 7/22/09 poured an amber in color with a half inch white foamy head. aroma has nice mild grapefruit citrus hops, sweet malt, caramel, and some alcohol. medium mouth feel that is fairly full for the style. flavor has sweet caramel malted base, citrus hops, light bitterness, and some bread.
