Commercial Description:
Fire Rock Pale Ale is a crisp, refreshing “Hawaiian-style” pale ale. Its signature copper color results from the unique blend of specialty roasted malts. The pronounced citrus-floral hop aroma comes from the liberal amounts of Galena, Cascade & Mt. Hood hops added to each brew.

Pours a nice copper color with minimal head. Slightly roasted malt aroma. Nice hint of roasted malt in the taste. I know it says a pronounced hop flavor, but I did not really get that. An easy drinking beer, but nothing special.

Tried this at the beach in Wildwood and it was a nice alternative to the other beer’s at Urie’s Restaurant...I would drink this again.

Bottle: Fiery amber, clear, large foamy off-white head, a few rings of lacing, no noticeable carbonation.   Soft hop nose, slight citrus, minor grainy malts.   Pale citrusy bite on the tongue, very minor hop presense.   Not grainy or astringent like I thought it would be based on its hint on the nose.   It is actually on the sweeter side, sweet citrus rind in fact.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Somewhat light for a pale ale, in terms of Hops.   Does have a slight bite to it, but its moreso sweet.   Decent, but when I think of Pale Ale I think of light IPA, which this one was very light.   Tiz okay, but perhaps a bit too sweet and not hopped up enough for me.

hazy amber, scant head, sweet grapefruit aroma, creamy body, creamy hop flavor, nice citrus character, light bitterness, a great flavorful pale with hop flavor instead of bitterness,

Pours a dark amber with a big, big lasting head all the way to the end with nice lacing to boot. Big juicy, caramelly aromatic sweetness with light hops in the smell. Taste consists of a quite nice hop presence along with some good sweetness to go along with it. Quite a flavorful pale, balanced, and one of my favorites for sure. Just what I hoped for. Overall very good, and one I wish I could get here.

Bottle. Unique fruity hoppy smell. Nice lasting head. Rich amber color. Flavor is great - hints of caramel and sweet, hoppy goodness throughout. Perfect bite to it. Developed, but not overdone. Very easy to drink.

This is the 2nd beer that Chaz brought back from Hawaii for me to sample. This poured an average size white head. Some hops in the aroma. A malt body for this beer with some hops in the ending. A decent Pale.

12oz, tried this one in Las Vegas and found it to be an acceptable ale although many proceed it. Quite hoppy with a malty aftertaste. Spicy. $8/sixer
