Flavor is much the same with a strong showing at first, then fades rather quick. Medium body with finish that is lacking in more hops. swanmann (309), Norman, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 12, 2007 12oz bottle - The aroma is mostly very floral hops. Clear appearance. Dark honey color w/moderate sustained off-white. Bright flavor with good bitter, citrusy hops. The mouthfeel was rather hollow. Virtually no finish, but initially pretty creamy. jgb9348 (2502), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 7, 2007 Clear amber coloured body with a light tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, a good malt backbone and some light citrus notes. Meidum-bodied; Strong taste of hops up front, fading quickly to a maltyness with very little else. Aftertaste shows some more character with a bunch of floral flavours running behind and a bit of a citric sweetness towards the end. Overall, a decent beer - well worth trying if you are in Hawaii, or if you can find this elsewhere. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from ABC stores in Honolulu, Hawaii on 26-February-2007. rmussman (905), California, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Mar 5, 2007 Sample and didnt really enjoy. The aroma and the appearance were nice, with some dark amber hues. But the mouthfeel and flavor were not pleasent. Very acidic and felt hard to swallow. I dont recommend. jcr (1160), Jasper, Indiana, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 3, 2007 Floral and sweet, but mostly sweet, This APA lacks the hop punch I like in pale ales. Clear amber pour with off-white head. Aroma is sweet malty — cookie dough — slightly hoppy — floral with a touch of citrus. The flavor is sweet and only slightly bitter. Dry finish. Somewhat syrupy with a medium body. Too little carbonation. undsioux7 (559), Cologne, Minnesota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 20, 2007 bottle. This had a nice little hop bite and a nice taste. It isn’t anything special, but a nice easy session beer that I would choose again. hayduke (1654), Eureka, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 11, 2007 From a bottle poured a slightly cloudy amber wtih an off-white head and moderate lacing. Aroma was of hops, with some fruit and citrus and is very mild. Mouthfeel is light and clean. Flavor is the smae as the nose. Slighly bitter finish. Enjoyaable to drink. decaturstevo (1997), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2007 An amber pour with a guey lacing. A light hops aroma but the hops don’t really jump out at you, very clean aroma. A light sweet maltiness with a theng of hop bitter. The bitter clings for a while but it is an oh so lite bitter. A very decent palate smooth but not really slick. Not thin not hugely full but good. A beer that may not have the bitter I was hoping for but a pretty balanced adventure.
