hogan873 (184), Joliet, Illinois, USA Jul 20, 2008 Not being a huge fan of pale ale, I was immensely surprised by how much I liked this beer. Pours orangish-amber with just a touch of cloudiness. The thick beige head leaves nice lacing. The aroma is primarily citrus and hops, but there are notes of malt. Very smooth and a bit oily on the palate. Very nice flavor with a superb mix of hoppy bitterness and malty smoothness. Citrus and bread flavors lead to a smooth finish. Very nice brew.
tangentrider (142), USA Aug 29, 2008 Amber beer with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit. Flavor has a nice hop bitterness and a good balance of malt. Finish is grapefruit, starting bitter and finishing slightly sweet. Very nice american pale ale. AgentSteve (747), Livermore, California, USA Aug 27, 2008 On tap, pours a decent light copper with a finger thick, cream colored head. The nose is clean bitter hops and sweet malt, as is the flavor. Very easy drinking PsionSaint (51), Colorado, USA Aug 27, 2008 Bottle. A very nice pale ale, copper color, with a definite sweet taste initially balanced out with strong hoppy bitter aftertaste. anders37 (2569), Malmö, Sweden Aug 27, 2008 Draught @ Taphouse Grill, Seattle. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Fruity malty and hoppy aroma. Sweet fruity malty flavor with some hoppy hints. Malty hoppy finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
