k4df4l (148), DTown, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 30, 2008 Nice floral and citrus nose. Flavor had a nice light bitterness up front with a moderate roast quality to the sweet malty middle. Light herbal & citrusy hop flavor before the somewhat chewy finish. Moderate carbonation and a somewhat substantial body for the style
danielcurtis81 (349), San Diego, California, USA Jan 5, 2009 Draft. Pours a yellow-orange, slight head. Sweet malt nose. Flavors similar some slight citrus notes too. A refreshing drink. JohnnyJ (760), Carlsbad, California, USA Jan 5, 2009 Drinkable bland pale. Pours a slightly dark golden color with white head. Sweet malt, grass, notes of citrus and hops. Ehh its alright. Im not to excited about it. nqualls (633), Tennessee, USA Jan 1, 2009 On tap at Koko Marina. Poured a clear gold/orange color with a small off white head. Aroma of malt and some grassy notes as well as citrus notes. Flavor was malty with a grassy bitterness. This is a good pale ale. mwelsh13 (263), Maryland, USA Jan 1, 2009 12 oz bottle pours medium golden yellow in color with a small (one finger) head that sticks around a bit. Grassy/herbal hop aroma with a slight caramel aroma. A small bit of pine in the hop bitterness, but in no way overwhelming. A slightly thin body did have a bit of sweetness, but also cereal type body. A different pale ale than what I am used to and not bad for the beer wastelands of Myrtle Beach. I was amazed that a bottle that was packaged in early Dec made its way all the way from Hawaii to SC in less than a month and for $6.99 a sixer, I was happily surprised. fredandboboflo (774), East Setauket, New York, USA Jan 1, 2009 Bottle. Definitely not fresh, zero hop presence, and a more developed maltiness than in a fresh, crisp pale ale, but despite that, showed some nice features. Rich caramel, honey, brown sugar, and steadily increasing cereals (oat, barley) made for an interesting beer. Would like to see what sort of hops this one presents, but Id drink it again in this form too.
