doubleo (626), San Diego, California, USA May 14, 2008 On-tap at Jake’s Del Mar. Pours amber with a thin white head, some lace. Smells of mellow, sweet hoppiness, some malts as well. Tastes citrusy sweet, not so much hoppy citrus, just citrus. Some caramelly malt flavors and a bit metallic as well. Medium body, crisp carbonation. Tasty
daknole (492), Plantation, Florida, USA Jul 8, 2008 This is a pretty decent pale ale. Not usually my favorite style I enjoyed the nice amberish color wtih a small head. Malt and hops are present in this surprisingly tasty beer. junon (116), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Jul 7, 2008 Wow. Lots of colour in this one. Sweet hop aroma. Surprisingly clingy palate. This is a true pale ale with just the right amount of alcohol taste for a Hawaiian original. Solid release from Kona. carruthm (253), USA Jul 6, 2008 reddish pour with no head. taste of hops, small aroma of grass and a meh palate. Poured much darker than expected from a so called pale ale. Snojerk321 (859), San Diego, California, USA Jul 4, 2008 Bottle from BevMo Mission Valley. Pours a clear, copper color with a medium, white head. Decent lacing. Sweet, light hoppy aroma. Good mouthfeel. Flavor is similar to a good American Pale Ale with a nice hoppiness along with a citrusy finish. dwaggs2 (11), Warrensburg, Missouri, USA Jul 3, 2008 Not a bad pale ale. I have had better. But poured a nice amber color almost orange. Nice white head that lasted a while. Very easy drink. Tasted was smooth and enjoyable.
