Oct 29, 2009 On tap at the brew pub. Dark copper-red body with a light off-white head. Slightly sweet malty aroma. Flavor was malty and somewhat sweet with little hops evident. Smooth, rich body.

Jun 19, 2009 On tap at the Yard House, Waikiki. Hazed dark amber with a white head. Sweet caramel and earth nose, flavor is more of the same. Tasty and drinkable.

Mar 1, 2009 This beer holds a special place in my heart. After spending a good long time in Hawaii, this beer is always available on tap in local places, a constant choice for pitchers with buddies. Not much to the beer, caramel color with caramel flavors. Not much chocolate.

Feb 26, 2009 Updated: Mar 6, 2009On tap at Kona Koko Marina. Pours hazy amber with a thin white head. Nose is fruity hops and sugar. Flavor is a little weak and not much of a finish. Mouthfeel is not bad.
