| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 19, 2008 Solid red ale here. Big malty nose and flavor catch my attention. Probably my favorite out of the 12 beer sampler I got at the brewery. Lots of caramel and lightly roasted malts, LOTS! Good stuff. elihapa (1054), Honolulu, California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jun 4, 2008 on tap, Yardhouse. Pours a dark ruby color, quite attractive. Smell is of malt and fruits. Flavor is quite interesting: classic red ale sweeter malt + hop balance with fruit, but also features a subtle smokiness that adds character to this brew. Palate is light-medium. Finishes smooth and flavors linger on tongue. Flavors could have been bolder, but nice overall. SQNfan (591), Wheaton, Illinois, USA

2008 – Great Hawaiian Beer Run
Aroma – A light amber ale aroma this was weak.
Appearance – Amber reddish in color, nice head and clear.
Flavor – A light flavored amber ale. I was expecting this beer to give me a buzz on my tongue. Not even. Sorry go back re-brew.
Palate – Semi decent Mouthfeel, nice texture with a dry finish.
Overall – his beer was off and did not fall in the best of category. This was one of the worst I had all night. It still scored well but other beers where soooo much better. This beer was plain.
