Commercial Description:
Longboard Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Bottle (Total Wine & More-Ft. Myers, FL). Poured as a small white head with poor retention, transparent body, very little carbonation observed, spotty amounts of lacing, and the hue was yellow. The aroma was malty, fruity, sweet, lightly spicy, lightly hoppy, some toffee, and crisp. The flavor was sweet, fruity, some malt and hops, toffee, and a crisp, dry finish. The mouthfeel was tingly and this is a light-medium bodied beer. Easy to drink, somewhat refreshing and a so-so session beer.

Pours clear yellow with a foamy white head. Smells earthy. Tastes the same. Not much to say.

Not a fan of more hoppy tasting beers but this beer strikes a good balance between bitterness and drinkability. Very smooth and somewhat sweet. Light orange color and mild aroma. Good Beer!

Golden. Fast head. Aroma: Grains, some floral hops. Flavor: Same with fruits and a hint of grass. Sweet finish. Better than expected. What you might expect from Hawaii doing thier best with what they have. I was in Oahu in 1976 but was only 11 and I doubt this beer existed back then. I was at the right place at the wrong time.

Slightly hazed, bright gold appearance with a small white head and a fair amount of lacing. Subdued, sweet malt aroma. Bready, malty taste with a sweet, fruity edge. Light-to-medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. Finish dries out a bit but does not linger very long. Nice, easy drinking, session beer.

Not very exciting, but it’s decent for the style. Golden-yellow color with a fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet malt and grains. Flavor is the same, with an ever-so-slight floral hop presence. Mouthfeel is light, but befitting of the style.

Comparable to yuengling. Little more malt flavor. Amber color with a white head.
