Commercial Description:
Longboard Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

(12oz bottle at Wahoo’s Fish Taco on July 11, 2008) Drank straight from bottle, so don’t have a great guage on appearance or aroma. Taste had a bit of spice/hops to it. A light and sweet lager… it’s a bit different from most. Great for washing down fish tacos. Enjoyable in the bottle! I’d pick this over a Heineken or Stella.

Bottle on 07/12/2008. Very clear golden body with a medium frothy white head. Sweet sugar, honey, and light hop aroma. Corn and grain flavor, some light floral hops and a mild bitter finish. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

12 oz bottle from local Food Lion. Aroma of pale malts with some grainyness. Slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Pale malts with a touch of caramel malts and some spicey hop notes. Medium creamy body with fizzy carbonation. Finish is clean with a nice spicey hop bite. Not bad at all.

Pours yellow with a good head. Aroma is blah. Flavor is pretty much blah as well with some hop and malt flavors present. Not as bad as the Macro brews, but certainly nothing special Dissapointing since this brewery makes some fantastic stuff.

yeah another typcial (an not so great) american lager. Dont get me wrong it is better than the normal macro brewed crap, but it still isn’t all that great. Maybe a tad more hops and malt than you would expect.

Gold pour with thick head head. Not another thin bodied beer from kona. Slightly spicy hop flavor with some carmel malts

Bottle. Poured pale gold with a thick foamy head. Aroma of spice and sea water, not what you’d expect from a beer. Crisp clean malt flavour, good on a hot day. A bit of a good hop bite in the finish. A good session lager.
