Taste had a bit of spice/hops to it. A light and sweet lager… it’s a bit different from most. Great for washing down fish tacos. Enjoyable in the bottle! I’d pick this over a Heineken or Stella. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Pale malts with a touch of caramel malts and some spicey hop notes. Medium creamy body with fizzy carbonation. Finish is clean with a nice spicey hop bite. Not bad at all. bobaidan (365), Farmington, Connecticut, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jul 9, 2008 Pours yellow with a good head. Aroma is blah. Flavor is pretty much blah as well with some hop and malt flavors present. Not as bad as the Macro brews, but certainly nothing special Dissapointing since this brewery makes some fantastic stuff. daknole (3000), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA

Dont get me wrong it is better than the normal macro brewed crap, but it still isn’t all that great. Maybe a tad more hops and malt than you would expect. ucusty (1900), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Jul 8, 2008 Gold pour with thick head head. Not another thin bodied beer from kona. Slightly spicy hop flavor with some carmel malts troopie (892), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2008 Bottle. Poured pale gold with a thick foamy head. Aroma of spice and sea water, not what you’d expect from a beer. Crisp clean malt flavour, good on a hot day. A bit of a good hop bite in the finish. A good session lager.
