Commercial Description:
Longboard Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Nothing too great here but I was pretty impressed with the Kona Brewing Company on my trip to Maui. Pours a yellowish color, some head and a little bit of lacing. Pretty much what I had expected there. Flavor wise, it’s pretty good for a lager. Tastes like a typical lager except for a little lemon zing they put in there which I suppose makes it more appealing for me. Also makes it a decent choice in the hot weather in Hawaii. A slight bitter aftertaste but no real problem there. I’d get it again but it ranks third out of the three beers I sampled from Kona.

Bottle. Pours a light golden with a small head. Light carbonation. Nose is malt and grass with a bit of hops in the background. Palate is sweet malts - touch of honey - and a mild hop finish. Beach beer for sure, dude.

Pours a light slightly cloudy gold color and has a stale hop aroma. Flavor is reminiscent of a European pilsener, not my style.

A clean lager with a light sweetness and a crisp finish. Nothing distinguished, but it is by no means bad.

12 oz bottle poured into lager glass- poured transparent thin golden yellow, medium carbonation of small bubbles, thin white head went away quickly, aroma of malt with notes of sweetness and hops. HIts the mouth with a dull but present sweetness which is throughout the swallow, malt seems weak, some hops on the finish, which is clean. I’d drink it if offered, but purchased a 6’er as a pure mistake.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden with a large white head that lasts leaving good lacing. Light aroma of pilsner malt and spicy floral hops. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium slightly sweet mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Not bad.
