Commercial Description:
Longboard Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

On tap at Kona brew pub. Pours golden with white head. Aroma of hops and sweet malts. Tasted same as aroma. Light but refreshing

Clear light golden or straw in color with white bubbly head that is mostly a ring. Sweet biscuity malt scent, slightly fruity with light floral hops over carbonic whiffs. Pretty aggressively carbonated which stings the tongue, but less so than a macro all-malt. Smooth and crisp, well-balanced lager. Actually not too bad, despite everything the appearance and aroma tell me. Slightly sweet and roasty, biscuity malt flavor that is balanced by a hop bitterness that builds towards the finish and is actually quite bitter, almost pilsner-like. Surprisingly, this stuff isn’t bad! I would actually drink this stuff again.

Nothing impressive by far, my wife even asked me what was wrong with the beer......Poured a light golden clear color with thin-medium white head...light retention, appears to want to lace the glass.....Not sure what to make of the aroma...I guess it doesn’ stink...flavor had something off...for as much malt as they used it needs more hop bitter or something, too sweet for a lager, I think they should redo their hop bill. At least it isn’t over carbonated....

On draught at the brewpub, labeled 5.6% on the menu. Pours a gold color with a slight white lace. Early very slight sulfur hint followed by a mellow hop bitterness and flavor. Light-bodied, nice hoppy crispness that lasts through the finish.

Smells lilke sharp old hops (kinda like a barber shop (barbasol?), kinda putting off. Pours a nice darker golden yellow. A color that’s got some balls to it. Has a rich very thick 2.5 inch pure white head, that goes away down to 3/8" fast. Flavor is good, and light/full, hoppy, has balls, unlike most (all?) lagers. This is obviously a premium beer, and not a pale lager. Moderate/light mouthfeel. Not a whole lot of carbonation left after the pour. Crisp finish, which is nice.

Clear, pale gold, white head. Sweet honey malt aroma with noticeable spicy hops. Clean and sharp with decent body and a nice hop bite. A bit too sweet for my tastes but not too bad.

Pours a slightly hazy golden color into the glass with a white head. Aroma is kind of plain with a slight skunky aroma and maybe a little hops in there as well. Flavor is slightly hoppy, a bit skunky, and kind of plain overall. A very lagery lager. On tap.
