Commercial Description:
Longboard Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Bottle poured a clear golden yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of bread, straw and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of straw, light citreus and a hint of earthiness with a crisp lightly bitter finish.

So this is far from the extreme beers that I tend to gravitate to but is overall a very well-crafted lager. I can readily get this in the bottle and have had it at the brewery as well...vibrant golden-color with small white head. The aroma is faint...but the flavor is definitely solid. To speak in rather abstract terms...it’s crisp, clean, and "bright". If you have a friend that you’d like to transition out of the "macro madness"...this is a good beer to test the waters with.

Draft. Deep golden in color, solid white head. Smooth, creamy, malty, yet crisp. An all around good lager.

Poured out a beautiful golden color. I’d go so far as to say the beer is refreshing. Nothing much to it flavor-wise, but nothing much to offend either. Has more taste than a Bud Light, but then again, so does Miller Lite.

Bottle. Smooth, easy drinking beer. And what’s wrong with that? The taste is very smooth, maybe a little extra malt and carmel flavor for a lager. Perhaps owing to its Hawain roots, goes for a mellow rather than crisp finish. Very slight hint of melon. Golden yellow color with little head.

Had it in Hawaii, and can currently get it at a bar 50 yards from my home in Fort Collins, CO. Nothing special, but not too bad either. I can’t drink more than 2 or 3 of these at a time though.

Golden colored pour with little head. Grassy, hoppy, little sweetness aroma. Malty, sweet flavor. This was pretty decent.

22 oz on tap. Golden color with a small white head that didnt hang around too long. Sweet malt and light hops> Won’t overwhelm you, but a quality, drinkable, refrehing beer.
