Some lace. Nose is of creamed corn, hay, quite hoppy, and there’s a lot of malts here as well when comparing it to all the Euro Lagers we get over here. Still the corn is off putting.
Flavour is pretty hoppy, grassy, some hay, maybe a touch of butterscotch with some good malts. FInishes with good bitterness, slight astringency. Good! Thanks Tim! MrBeer (276), Erie, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 29, 2007 Medium gold, with a rather hoppy aroma. Flavor is quite bold for a lager, with a good bit of hops and a fine malty backbone. Probably a bit underrated - it’s a damn fine lager. HopheadHans (755), Bay Area, California, USA

Flavors of spice, hops and bread. Much more body than a typical lager. Quite nice on a summer day. Hazmatt (363), Virginia, USA

Clean crisp beer that had more character than most regular lager beers. Smooth. Didn’t expect it to be this good for some reason. Maybe I expected a little too much, but I was quite disappointed with this lager. Tastes horrible in my opinion, quite bitter and is a bit heavy. Do not recommend it, and would not buy it again.
