Commercial Description:
Longboard Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Bottle from Immy, thanks man! Pours a deeper shade of yellow, into a frothy white cap. Some lace. Nose is of creamed corn, hay, quite hoppy, and there’s a lot of malts here as well when comparing it to all the Euro Lagers we get over here. Still the corn is off putting. Flavour is pretty hoppy, grassy, some hay, maybe a touch of butterscotch with some good malts. FInishes with good bitterness, slight astringency. Good! Thanks Tim!

Okay. A little too hoppy for my liking but still a decent beer.

Medium gold, with a rather hoppy aroma. Flavor is quite bold for a lager, with a good bit of hops and a fine malty backbone. Probably a bit underrated - it’s a damn fine lager.

Bottle. Pours wiht a yellow color and amedium head. Aromas of grain and a bit of hops. Flavors of spice, hops and bread. Much more body than a typical lager. Quite nice on a summer day.

Draught. Light amber color. Clean crisp beer that had more character than most regular lager beers. Smooth. Didn’t expect it to be this good for some reason.

Wow, after reading a few reviews on this beer I decided to buy a six pack. Maybe I expected a little too much, but I was quite disappointed with this lager. Tastes horrible in my opinion, quite bitter and is a bit heavy. Do not recommend it, and would not buy it again.

12 oz bottle, born on May 5, 2007. Clear light gold with a nice white head. Nose is grainy and grassy, a touch of floral. Medium-light body with good carbonation. Light grainy flavors, mildly perfumey floral and grassy. Very clean finish, a bit of sweet fresh cut grass, a bit tangy. A fine lager!

Sample at Firewaters in Atlantic City. Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head that dissapears quickly. Spotty lacing. Lightly floral and grassy hops aroma. Light body with a mildly bitter hops flavor and an underlying malty sweetness. The finish is mildly bitter and lingering. Straightforward and overall an average Lager.
