Commercial Description:
Longboard Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

Pours yellow with thin head. Aroma is very much like straw. Crisp finish. Standard american lager.

Poured a pretty light amber color with a decent head that laced ok. Lacing might have been the highlight. Aroma was sweet and somewhat corn-like. Flavor was a bit sloppy for a lager (light fruity esters in a lager? sweet and incomplete attenuation?) but a noticeable but light hop zing in the finish. Mouthfeel was light. Flavor was like a lighter and sweeter Sam Adams.

I have had this in draft in Hawaii, but tonight I am having it in bottle. This is a lager. Therefore there is nothing too complex going on here, but compared to most American Lagers, this is pretty good. Believe me, sitting next to a Tiki torch at Dukes in Waikiki, nothing can go wrong. This beer takes me back there. It’s pretty good. Not bad at 5.5%

Draft. medicore lager. tanish body white head. mild doughy aroma and flavor. kinda light and was missing wither a sweet malt note or a fruit note.

Bottle: Truly a thirst quencher, slightly above average lager. To be enjoyed on a beach in Hawaii.

Pale yellow with chill haze and even white head. Light grassy, doughy aromas. Full thick body for a lager. Light carbonation with a slightly snappy finish. Not as clean as I like.
