MaltDawg (289), Richmond, Virginia, USA Jul 10, 2008 12 oz bottle from local Food Lion. Aroma of pale malts with some grainyness. Slightly cloudy golden with small white head. Pale malts with a touch of caramel malts and some spicey hop notes. Medium creamy body with fizzy carbonation. Finish is clean with a nice spicey hop bite. Not bad at all.
fredandboboflo (471), East Setauket, New York, USA Aug 25, 2008 Bottle, bottled 6/2/08. Aroma intriguing with lemon, wheat, citrus, grass. Flavor boring and dull, grainy pale malts. Not unpleasant, but nothing to write home about. LilBeerDoctor (475), East Setauket, New York, USA Aug 25, 2008 Bottle, bottled 6/2/08. Pours a light clear orange with a small white head. Aroma of wheat and some faint melon rind. Flavor is also quite wheaty with some cardboard and bittery hops in the finish. Kind of flavorless. Not bad for a lager though. carl4beer (263), Fairfax Station, Virginia, USA Aug 23, 2008 draft. pours gold with little head to speak of. aroma was hard to find, just a bit of citrus. mouthful was full and had a nice bitter hop for a lager. Pretty easy drinking. HopBackDoc (332), Hatboro, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 21, 2008 Pours a deep yellow with thin white head. Mild aroma of sweet malts and citrus hops. Flavor was sweet malts, dough, grains and hop bite at the finish. I liked the balance of the smooth texture and the nice lemony hop bite at the end. A nice summer session beer. It may seem even tastier because I was drinking this on the beach at the Jersey shore while watching a bunch of surfers. dwaggs2 (64), Warrensburg, Missouri, USA Aug 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a straw yellow with a decent white head. Head disappears quick. A lot of malts and water. Taste is kind of sweet but not too bad. Citrus and lemon are also present.
