Commercial Description:
Longboard Lager is a smooth refreshing lager fermented and aged for five weeks at cold temperatures to yield its exceptionally smooth flavor. A delicate, slightly spicy hop aroma complements the malty body of this beer.

It pours yellow with a fizzy white and short lived head. The bottle cap taught me Lilo means Lost, which makes the name of the girl in Lilo & Stitch makes sense. It is light, summery and crisp. Good on a hot day or after a workout. The hops are so mild as to leave only the slightest bitterness on the finish. Slight pineyness of the hops, but difficult to find. Reminds me of Hawaii vacations past.

In bottle; tried in Kona. Not bad, just an average, easy drinking lager. I did enjoy it over most of the other Kona brewery beers (Other than the pipeline)

Bottle. Pours a very light yellow with a grainy, generic aroma. Taste isn’t too bad- some sweetness with a hint of floral hops. This is very light in all respects- aroma, taste, and body. Not badly done, but just not a whole lot here....This needs to be ice cold on an 85-degree day to work.

12oz - Clear, light gold liquid. No head in wetted glass. Skunk of hops on nose, vague eurolager palate, not near the malt strength. Eeh.

Had about 20 pints of this over the last few days in Fl. one of the better or best beers you can find at the regular bars along the east coast of Fl. I got a bit sick of it- but it is damn good compared to other lagers. Pours a mostly to entirely clear depending on where poured- usually a decent white head. Aroma is fresh bready doughy pils malts, crackery, slight sea-foam, herbal and floral hops- and just clean with no adjunct-crap or DMS which is nice. Flavor is big doughy fresh malts, herbal and floral hops, a bit grassy at times, nice full malt, crisp finish but often has a saltiness and sea-foam which is unique and makes it quite quaffable when cold, but as it warms it becomes a bit harder to drink because of the saline nature. Pretty good though- seems a bit underrated?

Bottled. Very dry. pores a yellow with white head. aroma is sweet malts but light amounts with floral notes and very light citrus. Flavor is also bittered by floral hops and backed by a sweeter malty flavor. Bitterness lasts throughout and lingers.

Purchased at the local corner store. Different label on this bottle. Clear yellow, but with this pale lager there is a bit of head retention. A slight corn aroma, but this pale lager is sweeter than the rest of the pale lagers out there. Flavor is well balanced i.e. nice sweet malt and subtle hop flavor. I was thinking this was going to be a very boring pale lager, but it has actually surprised me. Texture is a little bit thicker than your average pale lager, but nothing exceptional is going on here. Better than most, but not the best pale lager I have ever had.
