Aroma of nice fresh, grapefruity hops and sweet caramel malt. Full, sweet body has some light fruity esters and complexity and bittering hops toward a drier bittersweet finish. Aromas of dark fruit, carmel, toffee, light mollases and a hint of spice. Palate was full bodied smooth and slightly dry. Sweetened nuts and fresh bread, too. Nice level of hops. Kona Brewing on the Big Island: 2007 vintage on draft - super nice and tasty.
