Commercial Description:
Pipeline Porter is smooth and dark with a distinctive roasty aroma and earthy complexity from its diverse blends of premium malted barley. This celebration of malt unites with freshly roasted 100% Kona coffee grown at Cornwell Estate on Hawaii’s Big Island, lending a unique roasted aroma and flavor. A delicate blend of hops rounds out this palate-pleasing brew.

This was purchased at the Caboose in Ashland. It is an excellent porter. It is not available all year. I have visited this brewery on the Big Island many years ago. The porter poured with a smallish head and a deep black color. The aroma was of raosted coffee. This ia very smooth porter worth having again and again. Finish has roasted coffee flavors as well. This is great everyday Porter while enjoying TV. It is not a sipping Porter.

From bottle. Smoothe and light mouth feel but still a very rich flavor. Coffee in every sip. Excellent drinker.

Sample from a bottle in Honolulu. Dark hue with a thin tan head. Tasty kona coffee up front with a medium body. Mellow roasted malt. Not bad!

Kona coffee comes through in this beer. Lot of coffee notes. Not much else though besides that. Decent finish, leaves a pretty nice after taste. Again, perfect for sunset on the beaches in Hawaii

Pours out dark brown with a small tan head. Nice aroma of coffee, some roasted malts and some earthy notes. Taste is well balanced, big upfront coffee flavors, some earthy notes and some roasted malts and a slight bitterness finishes it out. Overall, rather well done.

Bottle 355 ml
Appearance: dark brown brew with medium light, whiter top.
Nose: Earthy , deep roast thanks to coffee followed by barley roasted aromas. Black ,earthy with ash , some tobacco. 8-
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied with fairly frisk carbonation. Plenty of coffee charcter found. Softer, sweeter caramel and brown malts later on. Very good coffee porter.14+/20
