Jan 1, 2009 On tap at Koko Marina and in bottles. Poured a deep brown/black with a two finger brown head. Aroma of coffee, and lots of it. Roasted malt notes were present as well. Flavor reflected the aroma, with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Good beer.

Jan 1, 2009 Bottle. Pours black with a thick light tan head. Aroma of lots of coffee and roasted nuts. Flavor of bitter coffee grinds, lots of iced tea. Aroma is better than the flavor because I don’t like the taste of iced tea in beer. It’s an ok porter, but could use improvement in the flavor.

Jan 1, 2009 Bottle. Starts of strong with a nice roasted coffee aroma. Flavor takes a step back into generic porter, though still features some coffee, maybe a touch of milky chocolate. Not bad.

Dec 28, 2008 Very easy drinking... pours black like used motor oil. Roasted malt and coffee aromas right off the bat. Clean and smooth in flavor with similar flavors as the aroma. This could make for a nice session brew because of its easy drinking nature.
