Commercial Description:
Pipeline Porter is smooth and dark with a distinctive roasty aroma and earthy complexity from its diverse blends of premium malted barley. This celebration of malt unites with freshly roasted 100% Kona coffee grown at Cornwell Estate on Hawaii’s Big Island, lending a unique roasted aroma and flavor. The aroma is pleasant with coffee, toasted malt, cola, and hops. The appearance is dark brown with a thin head. The flavor is bitter and almost sour with an overcooked coffee taste. The palate is smooth and much to my liking. Overall I am not impressed with this beer save the aroma and mouth feel.

12 oz. bottle from Pristine Liquors in Spring Hill, FL. Aroma of coffee and chocolate, nice scent. Pours color of black coffee with almost no head. Nice flavor of black coffee. Very easy on the palate. Overall I like it alot...Im a coffee lover as well as a beer lover and this is the ultimate best of both worlds...I love it.

Medium dark chocolate and coffee aroma, slight hint of smoke. Color is black with a deeply hidden crimson hue, dark tan smallish soapy oily head. Chocolate syrup in coffee sweetness, solid bitter balance. Full carbonation, silky full body, smooth roasted coffee and chocolate finish. Nut just a solid Porter in its own right, but the coffee element takes this to the next level.

This one pours a rich, chocolaty, opaque brown with a thick and fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma is strong and mainly of coffee with hints of unsweetened chocolate. Roast, smoky coffee taste dominates the flavor, which has a subtle undertone of chocolate. Texture is smooth, and finish leaves a flavor of mocha.

Draft at Taco Mac. Dark brown color, light brown head. This beer starts with a coffee aroma and finishes with a strong coffee taste. In between you will find roasted malt, chocolate and a nice overall richness in this porter. MMMM.

Pours a nice dark brown with a good tan head. Aroma of coffee and some chocolate. Good coffee flavor with smooth rich malts. Not a bad brew at all.

The aroma is a pleasing lend of caramel, malts and roasted coffee. The appearance is a dark brown, with a persistent tan head. The flavor is roasty, coffee, caramel. It’s a little thin and not particularly good. The finish was sour and roasty, with no noticeable hop bitterness. Ok porter, not great.
