Commercial Description:
Pipeline Porter is smooth and dark with a distinctive roasty aroma and earthy complexity from its diverse blends of premium malted barley. This celebration of malt unites with freshly roasted 100% Kona coffee grown at Cornwell Estate on Hawaii’s Big Island, lending a unique roasted aroma and flavor. A delicate blend of hops rounds out this palate-pleasing brew.

Pours a dark black color with a thick brown head. Aroma has a mild roast and strong sweet presence. Flavor is a nice balance of chocolate and coffee. Seems a little light for a porter, but not bad.

This one is all about the coffee. Pours a thin rootbeer color with a light head. Nose is malty and roasty, flavor is heavilly coffee. Not bad, but you better like coffe if you want this one. RE-RATE had on tap at Mission Pizza, and totally different experience. Very plum and summer fruit forward with some toasted malt influence. The finish was a bit dry, but the sweetness hung around a while.

Courtesy of Quake1028. Pours deep dark brown with weak head. I get faint roastiness in the nose as well as mild musty leather oxidation and a faint coffee note. Meek aroma really. The taste has a well blended coffee and roasted malts before mild oxidation disrupts the experience a bit. The taste ends mildly roasty and with smooth mild coffee.

Bottle at Burger Bar, Mandalay Bay - Las Vegas. Pours dark brown, almost black with clear ruby edges and a tight beige head. Light coffee, earth and light roast in the nose. Smooth dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, a perceived hint of mint, pleasant caramel sweetness, moderate balancing hop character. Medium/light bodied with moderate, somewhat lively fine-beaded carbonation. Nice.

Black with a nice, creamy and lasting head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and weak notes of a sweetish coffee. The flavour has notes of roasted malt and weak notes of bitter coffee and sweet licorice. It’s not a very powerful porter, but quite OK. Thank you Tom/After4ever!

Pours a watery black with a thin tan head. Roasted grain and coffee aroma. Taste is roasted grain, chocolate malt and coffee. Very nice porter with lots great taste. I found it to be a great after easter dinner drink instead of coffee.

Good coffee aroma and taste, with notes of chocolate. Good balance between sweet and smoke. No head or lacing. Medium body.
