Pours a thin rootbeer color with a light head. Nose is malty and roasty, flavor is heavilly coffee. Not bad, but you better like coffe if you want this one. RE-RATE had on tap at Mission Pizza, and totally different experience. Very plum and summer fruit forward with some toasted malt influence. The finish was a bit dry, but the sweetness hung around a while. Hopdup (71), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Apr 4, 2008 Courtesy of Quake1028. Pours deep dark brown with weak head. I get faint roastiness in the nose as well as mild musty leather oxidation and a faint coffee note. Meek aroma really. The taste has a well blended coffee and roasted malts before mild oxidation disrupts the experience a bit. The taste ends mildly roasty and with smooth mild coffee. jasonp (1514), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA

Medium/light bodied with moderate, somewhat lively fine-beaded carbonation. Nice. Maria (6345), Thisted, Denmark
