Commercial Description:
Pipeline Porter is smooth and dark with a distinctive roasty aroma and earthy complexity from its diverse blends of premium malted barley. This celebration of malt unites with freshly roasted 100% Kona coffee grown at Cornwell Estate on Hawaii’s Big Island, lending a unique roasted aroma and flavor. A delicate blend of hops rounds out this palate-pleasing brew.

I saw a six pack in one of the ABC Stores littered all around Waikiki and picked it up. Enjoyed a bottle on the beach and found it big on the Kona coffee flavor with some malt to it as well. Aftertaste is yummy with a substantial bit of coffee remaining behind. Smooth porter.

black pour with a tiny bit of creamy froth on the sides. huge coffee notes with a little bit of malts as well. nice on the palate for a porter and a damn good coffee taste.

random scoop in great mall, milipitas. random evening, in arcades, and this ws the saving grace of their beer selection. a moderate body, which was a nice change to the thick porters that i have experienced recently. great coffee notes, the aroma was so good. and nice to have a 5% beer for a change!?? good looking beer.

Thin head, roasted malty coffee aroma. Very nice toasted chocolate taste, with caramel coffee finish, very drinkable. Too thin though, almost reminds me of good coffee brewed without enough grounds, body is too light. Nice beer, but not one I’ll rush out to buy again.

Pours a translucent mahogany with a small bubbly head. If you drink Starbucks every morning, you might really enjoy this. Everything about this beer SCREAMS coffee...aroma, flavor, and appearance. Unfortunately, it doesn’t possess the creaminess or depth that other top-notch porters have. This is a very drinkable beer...definitely worth a try.

Reddish brown. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, moderate to light caramel and hops. Medium to light body, good flavors. Coffee flavor does not dominate.

Pours a deep dark color with great lacing and a medium foamy tan head. Roasted nuts and coffee aroma. Great porter flavors with a nice dark coffe fish. Very enjoyable.

I had this on tap at Islands in San Diego. Pours dark with a small tan head. smells of smoke and coffee. It reminds me more of a milk stout than a coffee porter. Sweet flavour. Overall, fine.
