brettpace (174), Northridge, California, USA May 13, 2007 This was a good porter, one of my favorites. This has a very strong coffee flavor, almost a little toffee as well. This is o ne of the only Kona beers I like. However, it was a little thin without the distinctive dry mouthfeel of most porters.

K-7.5 stefanje (595), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA Oct 10, 2008 12 oz bottle from Bev4less. Pours an opaque black color with a small khaki head. The aroma is rich with coffee and a bit of mocha. The flavor is all coffee and nothing but coffee. The mouthfeel is medium malty. The finish is short with lingering coffee. Overall: As a coffee lover this beer really appealed to me, this despite its being rather one-dimensional. Recommended. jkaiser (114), USA Oct 9, 2008 This was beer number 22 for me at beerfest. It was rich and smooth. Other than that, I can’t remember.
