This was a good porter, one of my favorites. This has a very strong coffee flavor, almost a little toffee as well. This is o ne of the only Kona beers I like. However, it was a little thin without the distinctive dry mouthfeel of most porters.

Oct 11, 2008 12oz bottle. thin black pour with a creamy light tan head that disappears quick like. fair bit of lacing. nice roasted coffee and chocolate aroma. roasted grains, almond and lightly sweet chocolate malt taste. thin to medium texture with faint carbonation. pleasant enough. K-7.5

Oct 10, 2008 12 oz bottle from Bev4less. Pours an opaque black color with a small khaki head. The aroma is rich with coffee and a bit of mocha. The flavor is all coffee and nothing but coffee. The mouthfeel is medium malty. The finish is short with lingering coffee. Overall: As a coffee lover this beer really appealed to me, this despite its being rather one-dimensional. Recommended.
