elihapa (464), Hawaii, USA Jul 7, 2008 On tap, Koko Marina. Poured a dark charcoal brown with small head. Smell of dark chocolate, smoke, and coffee. Flavor is more of the same with a good helping of black coffee and roasted notes. Finishes slightly bitter and dry. Reminded me of Cooper’s extra stout. I enjoyed this beer.

Decent dry irish stout but doesnt stand out AleDrinker (1073), Sunnyvale, California, USA Jun 19, 2008 Pretty solid Irish stout here. Good roasted/burnt flavor with some coffee. Pretty light body made is quite drinkable on this warm Hawaiian day. JohnC (1814), Mission Viejo, California, USA Aug 23, 2007 I had this on draft at kona brewing. It wasn’t liksted on the menu, bu tthe waitress mentioned it. It’s a dry, irish style stout with a nice roasty coffee-ish flavor. Best of all they served it at ’cellar’ temp, rather than colder (the other beers I had were served colder).
