When it’s hot out, this is a good beer to have. The passion fruit with the wheat beer works. Fruity, sweet and somewhat crisp flavor. SamGamgee (1466), Santa Cruz (La Selva), California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 10, 2008 12oz bottle. Slightly hayzy yellow with a lasting head. Wheaty, grainy aroma with some fruitiness. Lots of wheat in the flavor, with a hint of passion fruit, Light and carbonated body. Refreshing. I can hang, but nothing I would go for in the future. ajm (950), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Numerous taps including Yard House Scottsdale, Pour 24 in Vegas. Oddly thick nose for a wheat beer - not complex, but actually foggy and thick: pineapple, flour, wheat, orangey passion fruit smell. Flavors of the same with the texture of that large-can pineapple juice we used to mix with in college. Refreshing beer - JUST this side of cloying. shrubber85 (2995), Wallhalben, Germany
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 3, 2008 Bottle. Strong passion fruit, orange and wheat malt aroma. Hazy yellow-brown with minimal head. Passion fruit/pineapple and wheat malt flavor. Nice light beer for the beach. kimcgolf (835), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2008 Had this on a hot night with wings and nachos. Poured a pale golden color with thin white head that lingered slightly and left okay lacing. Aroma was somewhat fruity, but not overwhelming, and I could still smell the wheat as well. Mouthfeel crisp and refreshing, and the flavor followed the fruity wheat of the nose. Thirst quenching finish of medium duration.
Not a bad summer cooler.

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 9/20 | Sep 21, 2008 (Bottle) Thanks to Enniskillen for providing this beer. Cheers Chris? Pours a thin, white frothy head atop a golden body of tiny sediment. Nose of thin Seville oranges: tart, light. An interesting and extremely drinkable brew. The texture is somewhat tonic and the finish of lemon, cardboard and cheese. Rather poor. 5/2/4/1/9 mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 20, 2008 [1649-20080902] 355mL bottle. Wheaty fruit juice aroma has plastic and floral passionfruit soap notes. Slightly hazy, "Gatorade" yellow lime body with a quick foamy white head. Lots of passionfruit juice in the flavour with a wheat base. Light body is waterly acidic. Would have been hard to say passionfruit if not told first by the bottle, but it has a definite presence which could be better integrated.
