Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a pale yellow-golden color with a small white head. The aroma was tangy passion fruit with a perfumey undertone. The flavor was dryish and tart with a fairly strong and distinct passion fruit element. The finish was tangy and fruity. Medium body. Odd but decent. rocbyter (919), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA

Light beginning getting sweeter in the middle and fading in the finish. Light palate. mrhoppy (214), Santa Clara, California, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Bottled from mo’s and split with kmoonlegend in Lynn Massachusetts on a hot afternoon by the pool. Wildly refreshing, simple and tart wheat beer. Passon fruit notes are subtle but right on. Very tart, prickly, wheat ale. Compliant, unique and underrated. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Sep 3, 2009 Light gold, slightly cloudy, with small, creamy head. The aroma is grain and some fruity esters. The flavor is weak, balancing bitter-sour against fruit juice. Slightly sweet, sour. Odd flavor combination. JPDIPSO (4914), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 2, 2009 Dark straw color with some tiny particles in suspension. After a show time, only a few tiny bubbles are left adrift atop the brew. My initial thought upon the first sip was dog pooh. I though perhaps I did not pick cleanly and wash my hands after the evening walk, but that is not the case. I sniff a bit deeper and find some wheat, citrus, and tropical fruit; albeit still in the pile of pooh. Sweet fruity flavors abound. A relief after the aroma, I was a bit worried about the whole; looks like, smells like, taste like thing. I was hoping I wasn’t stepping in it. Light wheat and passion fruit mix nicely. Quite dry in the finish and linger, make this a decent summer fruit brew to walk the dog with.
