12 oz. bottle poured into flute- poured transparent golden yellow, light carbonation, white head bubbled away. Aroma of malt and floral hops. Hits the mouth with a thin body, a little bite of malt, hops very noticeable on the finish. Not bad.

500 ml can. Pale yellow colour, with a big foamy head that holds long enough, and leaves some rings of lace. Smell is floral, hops, a bit of lemon. Medium body, in the mouth is dry, bitter, a bit of lemon too. Refreshing. Though I’m not fond of cans, this is a very good pilsener, maybe it lacks of some more aroma, or maybe is just the can thing, but it’s a very enjoyable beer.

The bottle looks really good, the beer in the glass also. Aroma is very alcoholic. Flavor sweet and sourish, too less hoppy. An average beer.

Premium Pilsner that has gone from flavorful to just bitter yet refreshing like its parent co’s product. "The drier the better" is an unfortunate turn, while the truly world class Pilseners still cover a whole, complex taste spectrum. Exhibit A is Pilsner Urquell -- not that it is my one and only : there is a time and a place for a Camel or a Havana. But never for a clove stick.

I had this one in Italy, pour from bottle. This one was light and crisp which made it very refreshing in the warm evenings.

Bottle. A typical dry crisp german pilsener. Pours a gold colour with a thick white head. Dry hoppy and body, with a very refined malt finish. The beer has a dry aftertaste. Good example of it type.

I tried this beer on October 18, 2007 after purchasing from my local LCBO outlet. The beer poured a very pale gold colour with a large foamy white head which quickly disappeared. The aroma was a combination of citrusy hops with some grainy backup. The mouthfeel was this, slightly watery, with ample carbonation. The flavour was slighty hoppy and a little bitter.
