12 oz. bottle share sample. Poured a clear golden tone with a modest, white fizzy head that reduced to a small ring, a light filmy layer, and almost no lacing. The aroma was predictable noble hops, with some bready Pils malt,.. not fresh but a little day old nature. The flavor added a touch of peat and some dryness and bitterness in the background. Very light bodied, with some lively carbonation. A decent warm weather, sessionable quencher.

Sampled on 4/8/2009. This Pilsner pours a medium yellow gold color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is cereal, grain and spicy hops. A light to medium bodied pilsner. The malts are cereal and grainy. The hops are spicy and floral. Nice balance. Lively carbonation. A nice crisp and clean Pilsner. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours a straw yellow with a briefly lived white head. The aroma is floral, with some grains and malt, with a hing of honey. The flavour is decent, malty honey sweetness, with a strong bready grainy middle, and a lightly dry hoppy finish. Decent beer, with enough flavour to stay interesting but light enough to stay refreshing.

Bottle. Light gold with a small head. Aromas are biscuit malts with citrus. Crisp and hoppy. Flavours are sweet biscuit with bitter lemon. Nutty, clean hops. Dry on the finish. Refreshing.

500 mL Can. Straw yellow body with a 2-finger white foamy head that quickly settles to a scanty ring leaving some lace. The aroma is an intriguing one like a field of wildflowers dominating over the malt/grains and hint of honey, like a field of wildflowers and grasses with a nearby pine forest being warmed by a summer morning sun in Northern Ontario. The flavor is a like a light pilsner, light sweet malt with a nutty note following in the aftertaste, and a mild nutty-hoppy finish. In German, "Koenig" means King, and this is my vision of a Pilsner of Kings. Shame on that outfit hailing from my continent for stealing that title.

Bottle. Pours golden, with quickly dissipating head. Quite hoppy on the nose, and crisp citrusy hops on the palate, with a sharpness. Decent enough pils.

This beer starts out with a nice hoppy, citrusy aroma but the taste was more grainy than I expected with much less of a bite than the scent suggested. Appearance is ok, beer is fair overall.
