| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 27, 2009 Clear light bodied golden lager that pours with a quickly diminishing white head, a light spicy-straw aroma and a lingering spicy bitterness. Skidds (252), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 24, 2009 Clear, crisp, and refreshing as any pilsener ought to be, but there were things that made this brew, in my mind, stand out for other pilseners. Was fairly malty and tasted grape-ish and sweet to start. Finished with a hint of hops.A good pilsener, as far as they go. Ron (1037), Rochester, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 24, 2009 I just found out this was my 100th German beer rated, and a decent Pils at that. Gold color with nice white head. Good sweet malt with a touch of hops on the nose and flavor. Not bad. jb (1057), Rochester, New York, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 22, 2009 Always like the occasional Classic German Pils. This was a decent one. Yellow and pale, cloudy, white head. Buttery aroma, palate starts buttery blends into hops, ends dry. Thanks Ron for sharing. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jan 22, 2009 2008 Bottle. This beer tastes like a "low budget lager." Slightly skunky aroma, clear yellow appearance with very little head. This pilsener has a slightly hoppy aftertaste and is somewhat sweet but bitter. The palate is unbalanced and watery on the tongue. Overall, it tastes like this beer was made with poor hops. Not very good. TKA300 (100), Carbondale, Illinois, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 18, 2009 Poured a really transparent yellow with a small white head that disappeared quickly. Smelled strongly of grains. Tastes really grainy and is very carbonated. Kind of bitter, but not with all that great of a taste... Not something I’d drink every day, but certainly not horrible.
