This Pilsner looks like a pilsner with fine foam and light golden color. The aroma reminds of a maltery and the taste is clear with a good bitterness.

Draft - There is nothing better in my view, but I am partial to German pilsners. My favorite during my last trip to Germany. Cannot get here in SW PA, but if your ever in S FLA, Old Heidelberg has it on draft in Ft. Lauderdale

This is another wonderful German pilsner. It’s deep gold with a medium, creamy white head that steadily shrinks to a thin, permanent top. The aroma is a solid, full-bodied pilsner with a lot of sweet grain, hay, herbal hops. It’s fruity and aromatic. The taste is nice fruity grain, honey, apple, a light but persistent pein-herb flavour, grass, a light fruity-honey sweetness dominated by the hop flavour and bitterness. Compared to Bitburger, the grain flavour is weaker, with more of an apple quality, and the herb character is about the same in strength but the flavour is different.

Konig Pilsner pours to a bright, golden color with a thick white head and a lively carbonation. The nose on this beer is fantastic. Aromas of pale malts and slightly grassy/herby aromatics marry in perfect harmony. The palate is crisp, with good pale malt flavors, and a lean, smooth, round body. Konig Pilsner finishes with a touch of malt up front, and ends with a slight grassy hop bitterness. It is balance that really defines this beer. This is the type of beer that is perfect for a hot summer day, or the type of beer to have, if you are having more than one. This beer is fantastic on draught, the flavors are a bit more vibrant, than the bottle, but fresh bottled Konig Pilsner is excellent as well. If you can to a Konig City location in Germany, it is well worth a visit.

I think this an underated beer. It has an extremely nice aroma and the aftertaste is just on par what on what a good pilsner should be. It is a very easy beer to drink . This beer definitely defines the style quite well

(bottled) Northern German style Pilsener. This beer is medium bodied with a floral hop aroma. Moderately strong carbonation and a grainy light-malt flavor. Crisp, dry, and bitter. Strong hop bitterness lasts well through the finish. This is a classic example that fits the style perfectly. Just like it should be!

A unique pils if you like it on the bitter side. Looks good in a glass and has a head that doesn’t quit. I like to drink it when I’m in that region. Worth a try.
