| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Pours straw golden, brilliantly clear. Head discipates almost immediately, but lingers at edge of glass. Aroma dinstinctively pilneresque. Pils malt, spicy noble hops, with a bit of sulfur. Mouthfeel is surprisingly medium full. There is residual sweetness that is offset by the ascertive bitterness. The pilsner malt is not as dominate as expected from the aroma. This is awesome. A classic example of a German Pils according to the BJCP guidelines and I can see why. FANTASTIC!!! Davros (247), Australia

Some sweet bready malt upon tasting, with a sharp overbearing bitterness later.
Body is slightly watery, but at least the carbonation is not extreme. plovmand (1730), Helsinge, Denmark

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Nov 14, 2009 0.33 L can from Systembolaget, Charlottenberg. Big-bubbled white head, lasting for a minute only. Body is pale yellow-golden with good clarity. Grassy and straw-like hops on the nose at first, then a whiff of dryish pale malts and sweet lemonade. Taste is medium sweet, light malty, with some floral, and maybe light honey-ish notes. A fair amount of both bittering, and grassy flavoring hops. Rather light-bodied. Finishes on the drier side, with a well prononced bitterness. Does not stand out in any way, a decent Pilsener though. probstk (1064), Nepean, Ontario, Canada
