Selten erlebt der überzeugte Pilstrinker eine derartig abgerundete, weiche und doch kräftige Bittere wie bei Königsegger Edelpils. Bei "verdeckten" Verkostungen stets mit auf dem Siegertreppchen. Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck. It pours a clear pale golden beer with an average-sized white head. Earthy hoppy nose with a hint of lime. Pretty pleasant taste. Bready with a good hop profile. Medium bodied. Average carbonation. Relatively strong bitterness- that’s what I like about this beer. Very long dry finish. Nice! Thanks a lot Quack-Duck!

bottled and on tap. Clear golden colour, large and very creamy head. Hoppy nose. Full-bodied, grainy, solid malty background with lovely hoppy flavours. Medium carbonation. A very well-balanced Pils.

Bottle (thanx to quack-duck !): Straw golden, small, quite stable white head with a little lace, grainy-dusty nose with traces of herbal hops; light sweetish-bitter flavour, corresponds to the light body; slightly increasing bitterness in the sweet-pale-malty finish. Nothing unpleasant detectable, quite smooth, but also a bit bland.........

(bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck!) Clear, yellow colour with a foamy white medium-sized head. Light-sweet malty, slightly grainy and moderately citrousy and herbal hoppy aroma. Bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate, almost smooth carbonation. Soft malty and quite herbal and bitter taste; dry-ish bitter-sweet finish with herbal hops; slightly papery malty aftertaste. Pretty bitter Pils, unfortunately not perfectly rounded.

A light yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is hoppy and grassy, and the flavor is sweet with a very pure malt note, and a good bitter hoppy end.

Bottle. Almost seethrough. No head. Not much to taste. Maybe a very faint touch of grape.
