Light unclear light to medium amber orange color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly - fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, old vintage malt, bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, dark berry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft - flat. [20090404]

Apr 4, 2009 33 cL bottle. Pours slight unclear golden brown with a small tan head. Aroma is rosted malt, breadish and slight oldish. Sweet malt flavoured, light roasted and quite bitter. Lasting ocerripe fruit flavoured impression mixed with a pronounced bitterness.

Jul 19, 2008 The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass not really. Not much foam, not very zippy. Tastes very sourish, somehow like soap. I miss the maltyness of a good dark bock. Not a good beer!

Jul 7, 2008 Bottle (Dank an Stefan !): Clear, deep golden to light amber coloured, slowly diminishing white head; toasted malt and straw in the aroma; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; nutty aromas in the robust sweet-bitter finish. A good one........

Jun 18, 2008 (33cl bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Almost clear, dark amber colour with a short creamy white layer. Sweet toast-malty and nutty aroma with subtle fruity accents. Moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a soft carbonation. Toast-malty and nutty taste; almost dry, moderately sweet and slightly bitter and toasty finish with a noticeable but non-disturbing alcohol (18.08.08).
